Data aggregated by DCLG from information provided by the Homes and Communities Agency and the Greater London Authority. Affordable housing starts and completions delivered nationally under the affordable housing programmes of the HCA and GLA

Data are released bi-annually by DCLG, normally in June and November
Dataset Quality
Prior to 2012 all data were collected by the HCA. However, after April 2012, the Mayor of London and the GLA took responsibility for these data within London. While delivery through the HCA and GLA accounts for the majority of affordable housing supply it is not all of it.
