Dataset Quality

All P1E returns submitted undergo thorough validation and crosschecking, and late returns are pursued to ensure overall response is as complete and accurate as possible. Anomalous data are highlighted and verified by contacting the local authority. The validation process typically takes around six weeks, after which estimates for missing data are calculated.
