The majority of figures are drawn from Local authority administrative data. Additional data utilised in the publication are drawn from the Registers of Scotland and Nationwide

Dataset Access and Use

PDFs of all publications 2011-2015 are freely available via the Scottish Government website. Statistical datasets are not however provided alongside the releases. It is not clear if these could be obtained by request.

Government attitudes to research use of their data appear favourable.
