This dataset contains statistics about the number of households that approached local authorities with mortgage difficulties and applications and acceptances for the Mortgage Rescue Scheme.
Time
Since April 2011 the local authority and Shelter Mortgage Rescue Scheme monitoring returns submitted to DCLG have been discontinued and therefore the March 2011 statistics were the last to be published. From April 2011, monitoring information for the new Mortgage Rescue Scheme has been collected by the Homes and Communities Agency
