Dataset Access and Use

Data available to download after (free) registration but only as PDF report. Subscription is available to obtain full access to housing data (3 bands of membership) .However, RICS state that they support academic research and will supply the full data set on a complementary basis (upon application)

Geography

National data is regionally weighted. Data from Scotland and Northern Ireland is collected but is not used to feed into the headline findings. Data from England and Wales are used for headine findings. 10 regions used (North, Yorkshire and Humberside, North West, East Midlands, West Midlands, East Englia, South East, South West, Wales, London).
